Stay Teachable
This is a subtitle for your new post

Jeremiah 33:3 reads: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”.
It’s amazing to me how God guides us into meaningful thoughts, prayers, and promises in every aspect of our Christian walk and obedience to serve. We give Him all the glory.
“Readers are Leaders” is the focus for our monthly prayers, concentrating on education and leadership.
When I feel positive, excited, and driven about the prayer plans, I know it’s God’s will. The experiences I encounter, the nuggets that are dropped in my heart, represent the idea in a clear way which aligns perfectly with what is proposed and allows mindful and prayerful response with confidence and clarity.
My excitement started this month with our Mission lesson about God sending Jesus to show us righteous living, and most importantly, to take on the punishment we deserve but cannot endure. He is our Redeemer, Counselor, Comforter, Protector, Provider, Teacher, and left for us deeply embedded footprints to follow in his word, as well as His Spirit to guide us to live holy. Because of His promise, we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. 2 Corin 5:21 says: “For He hath made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
The lesson encouraged praying and praising God for our godly leaders who teach and live the Word. It suggested that if any leaders were experiencing difficulties, pray for them, their family, and the entire congregation. Send cards or care packages, letting them know prayers are being offered on their behalf. How much clearer can the reference be that we’re “spot on” in our planned prayers for the upcoming month.
We can see the fruits of their labor and appreciate our leaders who willingly and cheerfully give obedience to God and serve with boundless energy. They do so in spite of their health, grief, or other worldly obstacles that may slow them down. In addition to pursuing personal educational experiences for themselves. Daring to be different and excellent in their chosen skills. I was talking about this to one of the leaders, and the personal goal for her is to “learn something new today”. That’s every day! What a great expectation! If we stay teachable in obedience to God’s Word and walk by faith and not by sight, we too can be a leader that learns.
God is with us and promises never to leave nor forsake us. He is prompting, encouraging, and confirming that we must take our leaders to the throne of grace. We must pray, praise, and leave them there in faith. So please, join us in prayer.
God is blessing us mightily.
