God's Children

This is a subtitle for your new post

When Jesus saw what was happening, He was angry with His disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of GOD belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of GOD like a child will never enter it.”
Mark 10:14-15 NLT
There was an incident during Jesus’ ministry where some parents brought their children to Jesus so that He could touch and bless them. His disciples did not think this was a good idea, so they kept the children away from Jesus. I can assure you Jesus got on them and set them straight! Jesus put them in check, and this is something that is happening here at Starlight. Parents are bringing their children to have Jesus’ touch and bless GOD’S children. This past Monday as we celebrated MLK day, we witnessed our leaders of the Youth Nation lead the dedication of our Community Love Box. Then we saw our children participating in sewing dresses for children in Africa. We had a local Judge speak to our older children about the characteristics of true leaders. We had our younger children participate in listening to stories of the ministry of Martin Luther King, Jr.
We recently had two of our graduates return to our Tuesday night Bible study to tell our Jr. – Sr. high school kids what is available to them beyond high school. We see Jesus touching and blessing God’s children, whether it is Sunday school, Tuesday night Bible study, or MLK day celebration!
Parents, I want to encourage you to keep bringing your children so that Jesus can touch and bless them. Youth Nation, I want to encourage you all to keep coming to everything we offer, it is Jesus reaching out to touch and bless you!
All of this is happening because Pastor Ducre has always made it a point to bless GOD’S children! Children, Jesus is always looking to touch and bless you!
