Rev. Dr. Fredrick Combs
Dr. Fredrick Combs announced his calling to the preaching ministry on October 1, 2000, and was licensed November 26, 2000, at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Marin City, California. He was ordained upon completion of the Master of Divinity Degree (M.Div.) from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, June 25, 2006, at the Calvary Hill Community Church, San Francisco, California. He served as Associate Minister, Center Baptist Church, White Oak, Texas Summer 2006 until December 7, 2007, becoming Pastor and Pastor Emeritus of the Mount Gilead Baptist Church, Gilmer, Texas. During his pastorate, he earned the Doctor of Ministry Degree (D.Min.) in 2012. Retired from pastoring July 31, 2019, but not preaching, and now serves as an Associate Minister, Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, as part of the active preaching core.
Rev. Charles Phillips, Jr.
Rev. Charles Phillips Jr. accepted his call to the ministry in 2012, licensed and ordained in 2013 being guided by a deep commitment to teaching the Word of God. In 2014, he earned the Bachelor of Theology Degree from Unity Bible College. At Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, he serves as an Associate Minister in its preaching circuit with a commitment to both the spiritual and practical aspects of life, emphasizing the
importance of faith in action.
Rev. Lonnie Raibon
Rev. Lonnie Raibon, initially served as a Deacon at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church before accepting his calling to the ministry. He now serves as an Associate Minister. Part of his calling is caring for the sick and shut-in. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, his comforting spirit has brought peace and God's love to those in need of prayer and healing.
Rev. Alvin Smith
Rev. Alvin Smith, while serving as a deacon at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, accepted his call to the ministry. He now serves as an Associate Minister who holds the offices of President of the Mass Choir and Male Chorus. Being directed by the Holy Spirit, he is carrying out various assignments from the pastor of the church, and assisting the church family within the body of Christ.
Rev. Jerome Smith
Rev. Jerome Smith accepted his calling over 20 years ago. He has served as a fisher of men while serving God as he continues to serve others. He has led the Brotherhood Ministry and provides spiritual guidance to the Youth Ministry. He also supports the Pastor with ministerial leadership.
